The Lynx Console Table extends this language with feline refinement. Unlike the grounded heft of the panthers, the lynx figures are alert and upright, their forms symmetrical and refined. There is a graphic clarity to the piece—the flattened silhouettes, the sinuous negative space between the legs, the sense that the animals are both part of the structure and independent of it. The table carries McKie’s signature blend of strength and stillness, offering a kind of silent watchfulness. It feels ceremonial, architectural—like a gateway.
