SOFA New York 2012
Over the past few years, the market for museum quality secondary market contemporary glass has been evolving and Wexler Gallery is proud to be a leader in this important field.
This year, our booth will focus on the interaction of contemporary design with traditional forms of craft. By showcasing cutting edge design work from a variety of fields along side outstanding pieces by master glass artists, the space will recontextualize the craft object, validating its importance in today’s market place.
Highlighted designers will include innovative talents such as Vivain Beer, Timothy Schreiber, Philipp Aduatz, David Trubridge, Esque Studio, and more. Excellent examples of secondary market glass works by master makers such as William Morris, Lino Tagliapietra, Stanislav Libensky & Jaroslava Brychtova, Tom Patti, Joel Philip Myers, Mark Peiser, and Dale Chihuly will also be on view.
Wexler Gallery is an internationally recognized gallery exhibiting the finest in art and design. Focusing on work that blurs the line between fine art, decorative art, sculpture, and craft, we are proud to showcase some of the world’s most esteemed artists working in these fields.
