Artist Statement
"Most of my paintings explore the interplay of color and light. As I begin to work with one color, I see what can happen as I apply other colors. I begin to think in terms of transparent and translucent images. As I continue to apply color, the imagery comes alive for me.

My paintings are capable of many interpretations. One may see landscapes, but going beyond the image one hopefully can depict fields of energy, of emotions or as a gateway to works outside the every day norm."
