Artist Statement
I have always been interested in abandoned places, however I was always content not to explore them.  Knowing that they are there, an unexplored part of my life was enough.  This allows my image of places to be malleable.  I often use discarded materials in my work.  Exploring materials and their properties is integral to my art.
